The Rhode Island Higher Education Assistance Authority (RIHEAA) will mark its 30th anniversary with a college access seminar on November 16, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island. Speakers include Arnold Mitchem, president of the Council for Opportunity in Education, and C. Adolfo Bermeo, senior scholar at the Pell Institute for the Study of Opportunity in Higher Education. Rhode Island officials will also introduce “WayToGoRI.org,” the Ocean State’s one-stop education portal, and outline new state diploma requirements.
